| Ground condition | Per acre |
|---|---|
| Light brush and palmetto | $2,500 to $4,500 |
| Mixed brush with scattered trees | $4,500 to $7,500 |
| Wooded, full grubbing | $7,500 to $12,000 |
| Debris haul-off | $150 to $350 per truckload |
Mulching in place instead of hauling usually lands in the lower half of each range. Wet ground pushes toward the top or moves the schedule; the walk-through settles which before you commit to anything.
Cleared means grubbed
Plenty of clearing quotes on the First Coast cover knocking down what you can see and leave the root mats in the ground. Palmetto roots and pine stumps rot, settle and turn a future pad or driveway into a dip. When we say cleared, the grubbing is in the price: roots out, holes closed and the ground left even.
Two honest cautions from working this coast. Gopher tortoise burrows are protected in Florida, and finding one changes the plan legally, not optionally. And parcels near the Timucuan preserve or mapped wetlands can carry clearing restrictions; ten minutes of checking before the machines arrive beats a stop work order after. We do that checking as part of the walk-through.

Address and rough acreage is enough to start. A parcel map or a few photos of the growth gets you a tighter range on the first call.
